I am a mom of four, and a passionate advocate for families and their journeys through pregnancy, birth, and early parenting. I have experienced both a home birth and hospital births. My third child resulted in an emergency cesarean section and played a pivotal role in my decision to become a doula. It is my mission to provide non-judgmental and empowering support to the birthing person and their family during this most special time.

​I am a college professor, former high school teacher and Veteran.  I have worked with youth populations for more than 25 years. I am also the founder of Oh Happy Play, a small nonprofit that recycles unwanted toys and play items and redistributes them to low-income families in need.
